About Caesar

Handsome Caesar is looking for his new home! He’s an 18 month old crossbreed who originally came into our care as a stray after he had escaped from his home. Luckily a member of the public managed to catch him and he was brought to us. We managed to contact his owners who were struggling to look after Caesar so decided to sign him over into our care.

When he first arrived with us, he was very nervous of his surroundings and it took him a few days to settle. He has since bonded with the kennel staff and loves spending time with them. He is a very intelligent boy who needs lots of stimulation to keep his mind busy, he loves puzzles and learning new tricks!

Caesar was sold to his previous owners as a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, however based on his appearance we suspect he may be part Malinois, which is a very active breed.

What kind of home would suit Caesar?

Caesar is of a slightly nervous disposition and can be anxious in new situations. Once he is comfortable he is the most affectionate boy and loves nothing more than a good snuggle! He will need someone who is understanding of his anxiety and who can help him gain confidence. We would require any potential adopters to have some experience with similar breeds so they can understand and meet Caesar’s needs.

He has had a history of escaping from his home, so 6ft+ fences are a must. He has been around children so we would consider a home with children over 12. He has not met any dogs whilst being in our care; however, we will be testing him soon. He cannot live with cats.
