Whilst many consider 'conservation' to be large scale, associated with vast woodland habitats or with expanses of heath and moor, for us 'townies' with our parks and our gardens, within our urban settings, our reality sits in stark contrast. Although we tend to deal with individuals rather than with colonies and our scaled down focus is more 'rescue, rehabilitate and release', the battle to preserve life and to 'conserve' new generations, through safe and healthy albeit adapted environments, remains very much the same.

At Freshfields our work whilst by no means limited to, tends to be predominantly with foxes, hedgehogs and wild birds.
