Meet Cleo

She spent over a month in a crate at a vet practice due to her having some skin issues. The vets did everything they could but were not equipped to deal with her needs.

When she first arrived to Freshfields back in August, she looked completely depressed and disheveled. Her skin was in awful condition, and she was in a lot of discomfort. Fast forward to now, she is absolutely thriving. Her skin and fur look amazing and she is no longer suffering.

Due to such a massive improvement in her condition, we have now decided that it is time for Cleo to find her forever home.

She is such a sweet-natured and playful cat. Cleo desperately wants attention and someone to interact with. For anyone who would be willing to come and meet her and give her a chance – we can ensure that you will have bagged yourself a true friend and lifetime companion.

Cleo is still currently in the process of reducing medication, and we are still adjusting some things slowly, e.g. cat litter and food changes. However, we do think that the stress of the rescue environment is inhibiting her chances of recovery. Cats are generally happier when they are in a home which helps the healing process as stress negatively impacts any cat’s ability to be happy and healthy.

We are also offering a foster to adopt option if anyone is not 100% comfortable with adopting straight away. This means that you don’t need to commit to adoption in the first instance and will have the option of adoption later down the line if you are happy to do so and comfortable with Cleos ongoing medical care (if any required). We will also provide any medication, food, cat litter, and vet consults during this time.
