If you would like to see us at any of these locations, please email Petmobile@Freshfields.org.uk and let us know which location you would like to attend.  We will then send you a link to a form to complete so we can understand a little about you, your pet, and how we can help.  If appropriate, we can then pre-arrange your appointment.

If you prefer, you can just drop in at any of the above locations to chat with us.  If you choose to do this, then you may need to wait to see us.  On arrival, you will be given a ticket for a consultation which would be 20 minutes and asked to complete an enquiry form while you wait.

If you have a dog, you may be asked to walk it away from other pets at the Petmobile until you can be seen.

If you need help with carriers to get your pet to us, email petmobile@freshfields.org.uk and we can arrange to provide one to you and give you guidance to use it.

We offer this service for free but welcome any donation you may wish to give to help support our work.

WHAT WE DO

We can offer free help and advice on concerns or issues you may have about your pet.

Rescues across the UK can’t cope with the level of demand for pet rescue.  We know the common reasons why people need to give up their pets, and believe that if we help out early enough, we can prevent that need, which is much better for your pet, you, and for rescues too.

What help can you get?

Keeping your pet: free microchips and address updates, the law and your pet, and preparing pet care backup plans to help for an unexpected crisis.

Pet health:  free access to a 24/7 online vet advice service, health checks and plans, neutering help, flea and worming help, grooming help, food, advice on the cheapest vets and getting insurance.

Pet behaviour:  Behavioural training assessments and plans, useful training apps, free equipment, follow-up support, advice on choosing the right pet for you, and information on where to find best practice resources.

Personal issues:  Help and advice to prevent a crisis for you and your pet due to health, housing or relationship challenges.

We’ll do anything we can to help pets stay, where they belong, with the people they love.

HOWEVER, our focus is on prevention and we are not an emergency response.

We are unable to offer fast-track access to rescue space, free veterinary surgery, or respond to calls-outs for pet welfare or aggression.  Our resources are limited, so we can only help people at the location we are working in, and not city-wide at the same time.  We sadly can’t respond to help requests from locations we are not visiting.  Home visits are only available for follow-ups for pets we have seen at The Petmobile.
