About Bay

Meet Bay.  Bay originally came into our care last year with his sister Pixie, when their owner became unwell, and was no longer able to look after them.  They went into a foster home but  due to a change in circumstances for the foster, they came back into our care.  Sadly we had to say goodbye to Pixie recently as a result of a tumour.

Pixie was older and  Bay had been with her his entire life, he looked to her for reassurance. He is currently in a foster home where he is getting all the attention and care he needs from his humans through this very confusing time for him.   Although he is 11 he is active and still loves to get out and about.

What kind of home would suit Bay?

Bay would love a home with people who are around most of the time, as he does enjoy and need company. Once settled in the home, he could be left for short periods.

He has been around young children in the past, and has lived with cats.  He can be reactive on walks to other dogs so we feel he needs to be the only dog in the home.
