Meet Zuko

This handsome chat is Zuko. He has come into our care as he is a retired racing Greyhound.

Zuko has never had a home, only ever been in a kennel environment BUT please do not let this put you off. Greyhound’s adapt very well to a home environment. They are known as the couch potato.

Zuko comes across as a little shy when you first meet him but he has such a sweet nature, as is typical to the breed, they love ZOOMIES & I do not know anyone who, when watching this can keep a smile off their face. The goofy facial expression’s & the strange directions the legs go, make them look like they are broken.

Zuko has regularly mixed with other Greyhounds & once we have done is isolation period, we will do further assessments with different dogs of varying sizes.

Due to his background we will be looking for a home without small furry creatures (no cat, rabbits, guinea pigs etc), better safe than sorry.

As Zuko has only been in our care for 3 days, we will be spending a few days getting to know him a little more & we find out more about his character, we will update his profile.
