Pretty Penelope came to Freshfields after being given away online but sadly her foster family could not keep her. Penelope is full of energy as typical for a young bun, however she has been known to nip on occasion. It has been a big adjustment for Penelope, coming into rescue, with all the new sights & smells. She can be a nervous bun so needs a home with someone who is willing to be patient with her and give her the time she needs to settle in. She was around 6 months old when she first came to us and is a Dutch bun.

Housing requirements:

• All hutches must be permanently attached to a run measuring at least 5ft x 7ft.
• If the run is on grass, the base must be securely meshed to prevent digging.
• Runs on concrete or other solid surfaces are fine.
• For house rabbits, please ensure all electrical wiring is safely hidden from curious teeth, and that your rabbits have access to an exercise area at all times.

Please be aware that we always have a long list of people waiting to come in for bonding & with us being a small rescue, we can only accommodate 1 bond per week, so it will be around 1-2 months before we can get your bun in.
