We are aiming to raise a total of £30,000, which will help us to make this Christmas the last Christmas in rescue for the 24 cats and dogs that have been with us for 3 years or more. By utilising the spaces freed up we can then be there to help a further 450 extra cats and dogs over the next 3 years. This vital safety-net will be greatly appreciated by the lockdown pets that we are already sadly being asked to take in every day.  

We know our non-destruction policy is as important to you as it is to us.  We will protect our promise to never destroy an animal that needs a bit more help.  Your donation will help the most vulnerable animals compete for that precious home. Giving new hope to the overlooked cats and dogs that are still at the rescue today because the extra cost of caring for them is a barrier to a great new life. Your donation will pay for their essential veterinary treatment, medication, extra behavioural training, special food or transport to the vets.   

All the animals at Freshfields are loved and cherished, but we all know that even a loving rescue is no substitute for a real home.
