Poppy
28 Jun, 2025

Hi I’m Poppy,

I was very sadly brought to the rescue after my owner died and their partner couldn’t cope with my care so I was living outside.

I am a real sweetheart and love a fuss. I will greet you at the door and rub against you for attention. Don’t let my age fool you, I am full of life and love!

Since coming to us, we have noticed that Poppy has had some trouble jumping and seems a little sore in her back end. We have started her on some pain management, under the advisement of our vets, which will probably need continuing in her home. We will be able to discuss this with any applicants so please don’t let this put you off.

Poppy has lived with children before and could do so again as long as they are respectful of cat boundaries. She came to us with another cat and they coexist but are not bonded. She could possibly live with another cat again given slow and careful introductions. She has not lived with a dog and wouldn’t like to!

If you think you would like to offer her a loving home, please complete  the cat application form here
