Oslo
25 Jul, 2025

Outstanding Oslo was originally one of our buns from 2017! He was recently found as a stray & taken to the local vets who then contacted us through tracking his microchip! Oslo was looking in a bit of a sorry state sadly, he had a case of mites on his back & he had cataracts developing due to a poor diet. We have not been able to get in touch with the family who adopted him back in 2017 so we will sadly never know what happened to him, how long he was staying for etc.

Oslo has taken some time to learn to trust again, he was very quite on arrival & would hide away in his box. He is slowly gaining confidence & enjoys a little head scratch from the staff & volunteers now. His cataracts have also massively improved which we are all so thrilled about!! He is now looking for an older lady bun to spend his retirement years with where he can get all the love & attention that this handsome gent deserves!

If you think that Oslo would be the perfect match for your bunny, please get in touch via smallanimals@freshfields.org.uk with photos of your rabbit set up.

We ask that all hutches be permanently attached to a run measuring at least 5ft by 7ft.   If the bottom is on grass, it must be meshed, but if it is on concrete or a hard surface, that is fine. If you are considering Oslo as a house rabbit, all wiring will need to be safely hidden away from nibbling teeth, and an exercise area must be accessible at all times.
