Oakley

Meet Oakley,

Oakley is a return cat who was originally from a group of 25 cats rescued from a hoarding home. His previous adopter was sadly no longer able to keep him as their living situation has changed.

This beautiful boy is very unsure about people. He spends most of his time hidden away and will not approach people but has been known to take some treats and allow a bit of petting from inside his carrier.

During his time in his prior home, he was also quite reclusive but did come out for leg rubs when food was being brought out.

We believe that, whilst Oakley is very reserved currently, there is room for him to learn to trust a person who is willing to give him the time and patience he needs.

Due to his behaviour in his prior home, we think Oakley would greatly benefit from having outdoor access. It is more likely that he will come to trust someone if he feels that he is safe to freely come and go.

We think he is best suited to a home without dogs or children. There is a possibility that he could live with another cat if introductions are done correctly after he has settled in. This would be discussed after application.

If you wish to offer Oakley a loving home, please complete the cat application form here
