Meet Chalky,

This sweetheart has come in to us after his owner went into a care home and he has been left outside for 6 months. He has been fed by family and neighbours but none of them were in a position to be able to take him in. 

We can’t imagine the stress that Chalky has been through and he is showing signs of it. He is a little on the slim side and was covered in fleas. He was yowling continuously on admission which broke all our hearts. He has settled in now and has shown how affectionate and loving he is, though he is still a noisy boy. He has been making biscuits and rolling over in his bed which is wonderful to see.

Chalky did live with another cat in the home so could possibly do so again with careful introductions. We don’t think he has been around children so would prefer to live in a home without any. We don’t think he would like to live with a dog.
