Meet Breda,

This sweet little soul was named after a much loved, long standing volunteer of Freshfields who sadly passed away this year.

Breda was a stray who was being fed by her namesake while awaiting a spot in rescue. It was discovered she was heavily pregnant so she was rushed in to the rescue and gave birth to 5 gorgeous kittens the very next day!

After awhile of raising her brood in foster she is now ready to find her own space and never face a life of continous pregnancies on the streets again.

Due to her difficult start in life Breda can be a bit shy at first. She will come to the front of her pen at food time but will quickly scamper back to her bed when we come in.

She will quickly reward you with purrs and a lean in if you offer up some licky-lix and a cheek scratch though. She strongly believe she just needs a nice quiet home to come out of her shell and thrive.

We do not think Breda would want to live with young children or dogs. We are unsure how she would react to living with another cat but this is something that could be discussed.
