Meet Kuro,

We are looking for a special indoor only home for this little tyke as he has had some additional needs while growing up so we feel he will be safer kept inside. 

Kuro came to us at only a few hours old after being found by himself in a gutter in Liverpool. He was taken home to be hand reared by one of our staff members and it was soon realised that he was quite premature and was exceptionally small even for a newborn kitten. Because of this he took a while to start thriving in life and so we have kept him with us until we are sure he is as healthy as can be. 

He is now about 4 months old and is ruling the roost! He met a lot of his milestones quite late and can be a bit slow on the uptake of things, he can also occasionally have a sensitive stomach and will probably always be a smaller cat. This is why we are asking for a special home for him as we do not think he would do well being let out to roam. So, we are looking for an indoor only home (having access to a Catio or with a view to build one would be a huge bonus) with someone who would potentially be willing to feed him some higher quality wet food (rather than Whiskers or Felix) or add some probiotics to his food to keep his tummy nice and happy. 

Now that Kuro is winning at life, he is a ball of energy and absolutely loves to play. Due to being raised by humans he is also incredibly social with people and very good at being handled, so we are looking for someone who is home more than they are not.  

He could live with another cat, but they would need to be a young, very boisterous and confident cat.He could also live with a proven cat savvy dog. He could also go to a home as an only pet, but the person would need to be home most of the day, with the ability to play with him throughout the day. 

Kuro does currently have a small umbilical hernia, but this is very common among kittens and is easily fixed while he has his neuter surgery done and will be done by us.
