Jimmy
11 Oct, 2025

Jolly Jimmy came to us after being abandoned at a vet’s and we can’t imagine why! True to his name, Jimmy has been nothing but jolly since the day he arrived.

He’s an absolute joy to be around and never fails to make us smile. With his kind, gentle nature and sweet personality, Jimmy would make a wonderful companion for the right bunny friend.

If you think Jimmy could be the perfect match for your bun, please get in touch via email at smallanimals@freshfields.org.uk and include photos of your rabbit’s setup.

Housing requirements:

  • All hutches must be permanently attached to a run measuring at least 5ft x 7ft.
  • If the run is on grass, the base must be securely meshed to prevent digging.
  • Runs on concrete or other solid surfaces are fine.
  • For house rabbits, please ensure all electrical wiring is safely hidden from curious teeth, and that your rabbits have access to an exercise area at all times.

Jimmy is ready to bring laughter, warmth, and plenty of bunny charm into his forever home.

We do all the bonding on site as we have the neutral space to do so, this means your bun will stay with us for around 7 days until we are happy with them together. We ask for £70 adoption fee to cover some of their costs, but all of our rabbits are neutered, fully vaccinated, receive multiple health checks, are microchipped & come with a month’s free insurance. When we arrange for your bun to come in, all we ask is that you bring your bunny, along with some of their nuggets so we can get ours used to what they will be eating- however excel burgess are the best quality for them. We will take you around the unit & try to match personalities of your bun & those we have ready for adoption & then it’s up to them, they have the final say on who will be their forever friend. You are more than welcome to come visit during their week with us if you are missing them!We would need to sort a home check before we could add you on to our bonding list so if you could send us some pictures & measurements of his enclosure that would be great.

Is your bun fully vaccinated & neutered? If you could also send a picture of the vaccination card, that would be great.

Please be aware that we always have a long list of people waiting to come in for bonding & with us being a small rescue, we can only accommodate 1 bond per week, so it will be around 1-2 months before we can get your bun in.
