Meet Finn McCool,
Finn McCool has gotten his name from a Giant of Irish folklore known for his strength and resilience. Finn’s journey at Freshfields has been the most dramatic of all the rescue cats at Freshfields in the last few years. From an absolute harrowing rescue, this poor guy was absolutely terrified of people. However through lots of love and patience Finn has gone from a very traumatised cat who was in constant fear, to a very purry smush who has grown to trust people and loves giving headbumps, sitting on your lap having strokes.
Finn was the victim of severe neglect and very probable serious abuse. When he was rescued by a member of the Freshfields Cattery Team you could see where he had been desperately trying to escape the appalling conditions he was imprisoned in. Finn was discovered in a property by a landlord after the tenant vacated the premises. Sadly the tenant did not inform the landlord there was an animal in the property so Finn went at least 2 weeks with no access to food or water.
Finn truly deserves a happily ever after and is looking for a loving home to curl up next to someone for cuddles.
