It’s less than 3 months until Christmas, and Freshfields supporter and animal-lover Steve Henshall is already making plans to light up the sky in aid of Freshfields Animal Rescue.

Steve has set up a spectacular Christmas light show, with festive colour and lights synchronised to music, at his home in Sidney Road. The show will be suitable for all the family and is free to watch and enjoy. The shows will run from from 4pm to 9pm on the hour and every half-hour from December 3rd 2016 to January 5th 2017.

Steve has adopted cats from Freshfields and they have been part of the creative team designing the show, under the direction of former Freshfields Cattery resident Ginger. It’s the first year that the Sidney Road Lights crew have set up the show as a charitable event, and we are delighted to have their support.

Steve has set up a fundraising page on his website which can be found here:

We’re hoping to invite the local press to come along and publicise the big switch-on.

The light show can be found on Sidney Road close to the intersection of Wennington Road. SatNav PR9 7EX.

Thank you Steve, from all of us here at Freshfields.
