Terrified and confused we found Mimi in the car park at our Liverpool rescue. She had literally been thrown away – over our fence and left.  Our CCTV camera shows her standing at the gate, giving a little wag of her tail as she watched them drive away.

Here is a few words from her adopter.   “After I lost my Jack Russell I missed him terribly and was looking for another. I dog walk for Freshfields and one day I met Mimi who had been abandoned the day before. I took her for a walk and felt so sorry for her as she was in a terrible state, but had a lovely personality and was great to walk. I thought I would foster her for a few weeks. On picking her up the following week I was met with a dog beautifully groomed and half the size she’d been earlier. She quickly made herself at home and after a few days I knew that I couldn’t put her back in kennels. So, I adopted her and I couldn’t be without her. She’s a great dog and now a lot more confident than she was in the early days”
