Madison came to us when her owner died. We stood in disbelief when we first saw her. She was so obese she was unable to walk; It was one of the hottest days of the year and four of us had to try and lift her using a blanket in order to move her. This poor dog was totally miserable; she had no life and the strain her weight was putting on her vital organs was so immense she could have suffered a heart attack at any time.
Seeing the photos of Madison here with her new Rottweiler family, it is hard to believe she has ever been anything other than a glowing picture of health. She looks full of life, happy, and healthy. Madison may never have made it this far if she hadn’t have come into Freshfields care.
