Hello Freshfields friends!
Cody here; resident lovebird and lead singer of our in-house bird band, Cody and the Lovebirds. I’m just one of the hundreds of birds of every shape and size who are cared for by Freshfields in the aviary wing at the Rescue Centre. Some people don’t know about this area of the work Freshfields does. My human friends take in animals and birds of such a wide variety, from turkeys to terrapins and everything in between! (Well, no tigers yet)
All this takes a lot of hard work, loving care and of course money. My mate Chelsea from the Wildlife Unit has put some new items on the Amazon Wish List, and asked us to choose our favourites. As you can see from the photo, I chaired a meeting of the Lovebirds over a drink, and the unanimous choice was the Living World Premium mix for Cockatiels and Lovebirds. It’s on the Amazon Wishlist priced £8.10 for a 2lb bag. We would be delighted to get some of this delicious food, and it will certainly encourage me to burst into song!
