Beautiful Tia is a sweet girl, who has a sad story to tell, she was originally adopted from us as a puppy in 2013 but sadly found herself back here as her owners work hours had changed.
She was so upset being left on her own that she desperately tried to break free from her cage, hurting herself in the process. When she arrived with us she was covered in cuts and scabs. Poor Tia just loved being with her owners and could not understand why she was being shut away on her own. She just craves attention and it breaks our hearts.
Tia was really nervous when she arrived here, her whole world had turned upside down and she couldn't understand why. She can be unsure of strangers to begin with and takes time to build trust but as soon as she does she is the sweetest girl. She is a typical staffy who is full of love and plenty of kisses!
Tia has skin allergies and will need a hypoallergenic diet. In addition to this she may require medication on/off for the rest of her life.
Tia is really well behaved and friendly towards other dogs whilst out on walks and we feel that she could live with a compatible dog in her new home.
Tia is a sensitive girl and will be best suited to a quiet adult only home with no visiting children or children planned for the future. Due to her separation anxiety she will need a home with someone around for most/all of the day. She is an active little lady who thoroughly enjoys hers walks and can be a little steam train on the lead so will need a strong and fit owner capable of walking her.
Anyone interested in adopting Tia must be prepared to make several visits to and from the rescue in order to form a bond with her before adoption, this will be followed by a slow introduction into the home so please bare your location in mind when inquiring about her.
This beautiful girl really does deserve to find her happy ever after and will make a wonderful friend.
