Lilah had a hard start to life so you could forgive her for being distrustful of people. Thankfully though she is not like this all of the time. She does like head bumps and attention but only on her terms though. Once she has had enough, she will let you know.  She doesn’t like to be told what to do and she is not a big fan of other cats. With the right people and away from her feline housemates we think she will shine and blossom into the lovely girl that she shows in glimpses.

Lilah came to the rescue in 2011. Her owners moved home and left her behind to fend for herself. She gave birth to 4 kittens in the abandoned house. When the owners heard about this, they returned and took one of them but left Lilah and the rest. They had also thrown her out of a window. All this before she was 1 year old. She was rehomed in 2012 but sadly had to come back as her owners were moving into a flat where no pets are allowed. It was a very reluctant parting. Lilah had entropion surgery with us to correct her eyelashes rubbing on her eyeball. She has recovered well from this.
