Adorable little George & Charlotte were found dumped in a plastic box outside our door. They weren’t neutered, probably not vaccinated & were some of the worst rabbits we have ever seen in regards to their fur. Little Charlotte was one huge matt! It took several weeks to allow the fur to grow slightly before we could even get our clippers through the tangles! They now look like they’ve had a visit to the worst groomer in Liverpool but they are so much more comfortable with all that extra weight off of them.
They are such chilled little buns, George is constantly in a deep sleep, sprawled right next to wherever Charlotte is.
George is the more confident out of the two, but we’re confident that in the right home, they will both come right out of their shells.
If you think that George & Charlotte could be the perfect rabbits for your family, please get in touch at wildlife@freshfields.org.uk with photos of your rabbit set up. Please note that this pair will need a rabbit confident home as they will need regular grooming.
We ask that all hutches are permanently attached to a run, measuring at least 5ft by 7ft. The bottom, if on grass, must be meshed, but if on concrete, will not. If you are considering George & Charlotte as house rabbits, all wiring will need to be safely hidden away from nibbling teeth and an exercise area must be accessible at all times.
