Meet Ellie,

Ellie was a previous Freshfields cat who was sadly returned after 9 years. 

She is a very nervous cat who loves having a safe place, like her igloo, to hide. She has found the transition into rescue very distressing and losing her home has really knocked her confidence. Thankfully she is starting to come out of her shell.

Ellie really likes chin rubs and her head stroked. This makes her feel safe and reassured. If you stop too soon, you may get pawed to carry on the cuddles.

She was returned to us as she was weeing around her home. Since being with us, we have had no issue with her using her tray but this is something that her new owners would need to be aware of and happy to help her with if it came up. We are always here to help adopters with help and advice if needed.

She would prefer live as the only cat and in a home without dogs. She would also need a home with no young children. A quiet home is essential as she really needs to feel safe again.
