Alfie was admitted due to landlord issues, and found a home almost straight away due to his loving personality. However, he was returned, as it was discovered that Alfie was experiencing some pain in his back, and was having issues using his litter tray.
After investigation at our vets, it is believed that Alfie was born with a deformity in his lower back, which affects the way he walks, there is no sign of any trauma to his bones or the discs in his back. He is currently on pain relief medication, and is now using his litter tray, and is much happier in general.
Alfie IS a character, he LOVES being outdoors, and will come running back when called. Although he lives alongside other cats, he tends to be a bit of a loner, and will lash out if any cat or dog dares to come near, so a home where he is the only pet is a must. Alfie needs a home with experienced cat owners, who understand that he may be on long term medication. Alfie is a special cat, he is such a character, whoever adopts him will have lots of fun !!
